I am so excited for this movie! I've never read the comic but now I'm totally interested. Is it any good?

Have you seen the trailer? It's on youtube, and it's freaking amazing! If there was a shot that wasn't based directly on a comic panel, I didn't see it. Dr. Manhattan looks...wow.

Yes! They finally show Dr. Manhattan! I wonder if hes going to be totally CGI, that doesnt really look like Billy Krudup.

I read the Graphic Novel in one sitting. It's nothing short of pure genius.

I've seen the trailer now after seeing it on youtube. I didn't see anything that looked like it was shot for shot from a panel, but I don't think that really matters with this one. The panels really aren't iconic like you would consider a Frank Miller panel to be. This one's all about the story and if they're able to contain the story completely within the movie, there will be no problems.
